Not really convinced about marketing and story telling. Would a good story sell a bad product? Apple built exceptionally good products, it understood its customers, and knew their willingness to pay an above average price for the correct combination of quality and usability. In some ways the product sold itself, and the story was garnished by the public, and unwittingly by the competition.
